This is really wierd. A tornado just went like right beside my house. And we NEVER get tornados. I'm kinda freaked out right now......

I spent the night at my grandmas last night. It was kinda boring because she lives in a small trailer house with nothing to do. I usually come back home the next morining to do school, but today i didnt get back until 3, so i got off school for today.

Tommorrow i have a play practice from 6 pm to at least 10. Looks like it might run long, which means i could be there until midnight. I'm really looking forward to it actually. When im not on stage i get to hang out with some really cool people.

We payed for the drums today. the guy says they should be in before the end of the week, and im really excited about that.

My addiction to mexican food continues.......

Long day today. Woke up at nine, did school to 3, left for rehearsal at 4:30, rehearsal at 6, end rehearsal at 10. grocery shopping at 10:30-11. home 11:30

This play is so messed up its not even funny, and because of that i have to skip guitar lessons on thursday to get to play 3 hours early for extended practice. whats worse is that i dont even need it, i have had all my stuff down forever, i just have to be there so that the guys who have avoided the script until now (we have had since last summer to learn this stupid thing) can see how smooth the thing is supposed to run and realize that they're gonna make themselves look like idiots. The only thing im worried about is if somebody in my scenes messes up we're all gonna be standing there lookin stupid waiting for somebody to come up with something. but i dont think that will happen to me. so far my group has been awesome. the main guys i go on stage with are my little bro, my best friend, and this one guy i didnt know too well, but since i was forced to hang out with him for a while i now know hes awesome.

even though im kinda worried about the turn out of this thing on friday, i still had a really good time tonight. i mean, i get to hang out with some of the coolest guys ever and make stupid jokes for four hours. and the fact that i got casted with all my friends is really unlikely and awesome at the same time. even if the thing does suck on friday night, its been really fun. i just feel kinda bad for the audience......

Awesome last few days. Wednesday was my little bro's birthday and we went to eat out and rented a bunch of movies from Blockbuster. Today was so awesome. We had play practice from 9 to 1 this morning. Play is tommorrow, and I might go to one of my friends house after that. The play seems like it is gonna be a train wreck for a lot of people, but my scenes seems to run pretty smooth, so at least I wont be the one standing up there lookin like an idiot.

Anyway, after play practice we had one of the cooest co-ops ever. I got to switch classes and go with a lot of my friends, and all my other friends got to go with me. The day was so cool and seemed to last forever. I had so much fun.

Also, this is just an idea, but, do you guys think you might could maybe post in here since you're reading it anyway??? Just a thought.....

Awesome night. We had the play tonight, and it went a lot better than expected. Some parts were a little rough, but over all I'd say we did pretty good
There was one part where i forgot one of my lines and was just standing there for a good 15 seconds at least, then we just all started laughing about it, then the whole room started laughing. It was so funny. What I really liked about this play was it was the only play I have ever been in where I felt comfortable kinda going freestyle. I have never really been comfortable on stage before. I wasnt nervous, I just didnt want to change any little piece of any line ever or ever move somewhere they didnt specifically tell me to go. This time we kinda had a base of what we were supposed to do, then went out there and got the message across, but we didnt follow everything the script or the director said to a T, we just kinda had fun with it. I got to stay late after it was over too because i had to help my mom clean up where she had set out the refreshments, so i got to talk to a lot of people before we left. Another thing that is cool about tonight and other play nights is that a lot of my old friends come to these plays, and so i get to see them again.

For people who dont know, a co-op is a place where all the homeschoolers in a community get together and play around for a few hours each week. The bad thing is they only run it during the school year. After tonight we wont be going there anymore until September. We still do meet at the park on Thursdays though, which is pretty cool. But i always hate it when the co-op year ends.

Anyway, tonight was awesome. I am gonna miss all the rehearsals though. They were so fun.

Oh yeah, my new drums came in today. I'm gonna go pick them up tommorrow. I cant wait for that!

The drum set came in today! It is so cool. And the salesman guy threw in some stuff that wasnt included in the kit for free. We got the thing home at 4 and took an hour to set it up, and ever since then my brother has been playing it non-stop. It gets really annoying sometimes because he is in the same room I spend most of my time in, and those things are loud. On top of that most of the time he plays he sounds like a chicken with his head chopped off. He's a good drummer, its just that being stuck in the same room hearing him play for over 3 hours straight is almost unbearable. He'll probably get tired of sitting there for that long in a couple days though. I hope so. I mean, I don't want him to quit playing altogether, i just wish he wouldnt keep bangin em for hours straight. I am glad we got em though.

Last night i left at 9:30 to go to my grandmas house and spend the night. I had a lot more fun there than i usually do, and my uncle gave me a guitar. Its a squier bullet that he had in his house and never played, and after i changed the strings and dusted it off some i started playing it some this morning. I didnt really play it too much because i had to get on school. (we didnt get home until 12 this morning so i was already behind), but after school i started playing it some more and i think i like the feel of it more than the Strat my dad gave me when i started playing. (also kept in the house and never played for years) . I have the coolest uncle ever. And now since we have 2, we can have rhythm and lead guitar.

I finished learning the song i have been working on for a while. Now i just have to figure out how to do the solo in the middle.

Had guitar today. I had to skip last week. Not much happened. I got today off of school, so now I'm really bored.

Got sick Friday, stuck in bed all day Saturday and most of Sunday. Had a really high temp. and chills. It was torture. The highest I got was 104.2, but I usually stayed around 103.2. I think that was the worst fever I have ever had. I'm still gettin over it now.

Haven't posted here in a while.

Anyway, we went to the beach and camped out last night. This is the first time we have gone this year and the only time i can remember that i havent gotten sunburnt really really bad. It was awesome. We camped out last night then played around on the beach some in the dark and looked for crabs. Then we got some seafood and came home this morning after we hiked down some paths on the edge of a river.

I think I am the only one who reads this journal.

Well, today I just kinda relaxed all day.

When I started to get bored I decided to go ahead and put some new strings on the strat. Its been about two months since the last time I changed them. Anyway I started changing the strings and then one of those springs that are connected to the bridge popped off, and when I looked back there i saw that the springs were attached to the holes that the strings go through, and when i was pulling the end of the string through it had popped off. I got a bridge adjustment a while ago, and i think that guy put them there when he was working on it (he wasn't the guy that usually works on the guitars, but he said he could do it. I think he might have scratched the guitar up some when he did it, too. But i wasnt completely sure he was the one that did it so i didnt say anything) anyway, the way it ends up is that i had to sit there and work on the guitar for like an hour just to get new strings on.
