| Knowing This is another one of Nicolas Cage's films which I'd like to check out. It opens in theaters tomorrow. I'm still curious if it's going to be as successful as his previous films, or maybe another flop like 'Ghost Rider.'

| Maybe box-office wise, but it's hard to think of many films that are worse.
I'll probably see this eventually, but his only films I remember really enjoying are The Rock, National Treasure (1) and Windtalkers. (with Face/Off a bit behind) He's a little annoying to watch for very long.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal". |

| Cage is absolutely the suckiest actor in the history of cinema. I will never ever ever pay to see some of his crappy monotone acting.

| I liked him alright in Lord of War. That movie was f***ed up though, in a good way. Left me thinking for days about the state of our military-industrial complex.

| I agree with you there; he fit that role better than most of his other roles, mainly because he was playing someone who you might imagine would have no facial expressions and a monotone voice.

| Nicolas Cage is on a pretty big slump as of late, IMO. I'd love to see him in some better roles(he was great in both Lord of War and Matchstick Men).
Interesting tidbit of info: Nicolas Cage was actually at one point slated to play Mickey Rourke's role in The Wrestler. Although I think that Mickey was the most perfect choice for the role, that's the kind of role I'd like to see Cage going for a bit more often.

I'm sure he could have pulled it off, I just can't see it.
Knowing looks goofy and kind of stupid, but fun and entertaining. I'd actually like to go see it.
And Adaptation is my favorite Nic Cage performance. I thought he was absolutely brilliant in that movie. |
