| It's tough to suggest music to others, but one thing I've found very helpfull is the WOW series. They include the most popular Contemporary Christian music of that specific year, you'll get to listen to many artists and decide which ones you like for yourself. Many libraries have these, so you can try borrowing them to see what you like, before buying. I've started trying to listen to music now before I buy it, because I've gotten such a hugh collection now, and a good portion of the CDs I own I bought becuase I liked one song. Many of the music download sites will have samples of the songs you can listen too before you buy, and that's a good way to audition new music too. |

| I would also recommend David Crowder* Band. In addition to that you may want to consider Matt Redman, Jeremy Riddle, Jars of Clay, and the WOW CDs. It seems as if you are more into the pop side of things and even more praise and worship and that's where I got my suggestions. I haven't kept up with the more contemporary stuff in that genre so some others will have to give some help. If you want to branch out into a more rock genre, I feel more at home there. However, I definitely think you need to go for some Jars.

| Definitely Jars, that should be required for all music collections.
Needtobreathe
Andrew Peterson
Andrew Osenga
You could try The Classic Crime's Acoustic EP
That's about all I got, but it may help. |

| Here's a few I like:
Jeff Deyo.
Unhindered
Generation Unleashed
Christ For The Nations
Eddie James
Rick Pino
Jason Upton
Misty Edwards
Shane and Shane
And I'm sure you know the big ones like Third Day, Casting Crowns, Building 429, Big Daddy Weave, Matthew West, Michael W. Smith... and of course one of my all-time favorite Christian artists, Steven Curtis Chapman. If you're not familiar with these artists, check out http://www.klove.com/Music/ArtistLinks.aspx.
And I second most every band mentioned here. Die-hard Chris Tomlin fans should adore Living Sacrifice.*
*Definitely kidding. |
