KU should be the pre-season #1 in my opinion. I have seen UNC projected as high as #6 pre-season but I think that may be expecting a lot...probably too much. UNC gets a bye next season...just like they did in '06 after losing almost the ENTIRE '05 Championship team. If they manage to stay in the top 10 and finish at least third in the ACC...they will have accomplished a lot. Anything else will be icing on the cake. I'm actually looking forward to watching a young, talented team and seeing how they deal with the situation. Of course...it's not like the cupboard is bare like it was in '06. Ginyard will be a fifth year senior, Deon Thompson will be a senior. Ed Davis will be a sophomore and will be part of the primary scoring threat. Tyler Zeller (knock on wood) will not be sidelined with a broken wrist. Larry Drew and William Graves are the question marks. Drew didn't play a lot this year but he has skills. Graves is the best shooter on the team in practice but had some difficulties this year. There is also a TON of young talent coming in. Barring early defections with Davis and/or some of the new guys...2011 looks like a good year for the Heels.

Bah. Gerald Henderson declared for the draft. Doesn't have an agent yet though.
