favorite little kid shows

this is a thread where you talk about your favorite little kid shows, for example:
Barney, blues clues, tellytubbies, wiggles, etc.

I won't remember all of them but here goes:

Doug
Beast Wars (still cool at 19)
Digimon (anti-conformist's answer to Pokemon)
Buzz Lightyear of Star Command
the Godzilla animated series

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

I feel kind of old.

some of my favorites as a kid (from different times; not all at once):

-sesame street (the original, meaning reruns from the 70s and early 80s. I didn't realize they were made so early until I went on a sesame street kick with youtube one day and saw the original air dates.)
-the muppets
-shining time station, both the episodes with frenchy from grease and ringo as the conductors
-carmen sandiego or square one, whichever was the real name
-ghostwriter
-david the gnome (someone please tell me they remember this; I feel like the only one!)
-rugrats (the original, thanks, weird artwork and all)
-doug
-inspector gadget
-eek the cat
-animaniacs/pinky and the brain
-freakazoid!!

and of course, can't forget the cartoons I watched as a teen:
-johnny bravo
-powerpuff girls
-fairly oddparents

read more books! listen to more classical, jazz and world music! play more other stringed instruments!

Arthur
Doug
Ghostwriter

In that order. Arthur is amazing.

/did anyone else remember that Samuel L. Jackson actually had a role in the early Ghostwriter episodes? He played Jamal's dad.

Lots of good ones mentioned so far. Here's more:

"Are You Afraid of the Dark?"
"Clarissa Explains It All"
"The Ren and Stimpy Show"

Alright, to make you feel less old I put the ones I remember in bold.

To add a few to my list how about:
  • Muppet Babies
  • Ren & Stimpy
  • Salute Your Shorts
  • Hey Dude
  • What Would U Do
  • Double Dare
  • Wild and Crazy Kids
  • Mr. Rogers
  • Under the Umbrella Tree
  • The Adventures of Pete and Pete

And the one "man" who guided us through those: Stick Stickley

Yes, some of my list may not be little kids shows, but I remember watching them as a kid and at 22 I can't quite distinguish what was early childhood and late. I'm getting too old.

my mom wouldn't let me watch are you afraid of the dark, so sometimes I would watch it in my grandma's room when my mom wasn't home. =x

oh my goodness, how could I forget mr. rogers!! I adored him!

I also watched muppet babies, salute your shorts, hey dude (loved that show) and pete & pete (loved that one too) but I was afraid if I kept writing my list would be endless!
