Obviously. If you're not an actual Yankees fan, there's no way you're rooting for them in the Series.

So go for the Phillies. Cliff Lee is improving Roy Halladay's trade value every game he pitches

He did a masterful job pitching. I'm still picking the Yanks, though. Idt the Phillies have the closers the Yankees have. Once some of the newer guys settle in, I think we'll see more effective bats, too.

Closer? Or do you mean relievers?

What newer guys need to settle in? Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada, Alex Rodriguez, Johnny Damon, Hideki Matsui... none of these guys are new.

The Yankees bullpen has been extremely suspect in the late innings in the last month or so. With the Phillies hitting talent and speed, I think that will pose a major problem for the Yankees.

But the Phillies are throwing out Pedro Martinez tonight, and Cole Hamels in the next game. Hamels has been pretty bad lately, including the playoffs, and as Pedro once said, they Yankees are his daddy.

Still, I am picking the Phils in 5.

Beating Sabathia is a lot less special when you lose to Burnett...

Man, I pray that the Yankees don't win the World Series. I am rooting for the Phillies like they're the Jays right now. I always have liked them, but in this situation, I would literally cheer for any other team in the league against the Yankees.
