| In addition to the previous stated: The DH takes a lot of strategy out of leaving pitchers in or taking them out. Also, if a pitcher has to swing the bat less that's 5 or 6 more fastballs per game, maybe more..

This is not setting up well for me at all. |

| I'd watch as many at-bats as I could of whatever series it turns out to be.
I will say, though, I'm pulling for the Angels all the way now.

| Angels and the Rockies. Or I would it least be satisfied with the Angels making it (LA vs. LA might be kind of cool) but the Yankees vs. the Dodgers would be brutal

#773 | | Cool enough Administrator | Yeah, the Rockies got eliminated today. ON a 3 run two out rally. Ugh.
I don't like this. |

| Hasn't the umpiring in some of the games been especially horrible during the playoffs? I'm thinking of the 3 missed calls in the third game of the Phils-Rockies (Utley's foul ball off his leg being called a hit and the two missed calls at first base) and Mauer's clear fair ball vs the Yanks. I'm not a fan of instant replay, but those calls clearly could benefit from help.
But, not only that, the umpires' strike zones seem to have shrunk to teacup size. |
