| Verlander seems to be his old self again..yesturday he was on fire, 11 k's I think.
Did anybody see/hear about the Mariners game? That was (in my opinion) the best game of the season so far..down by 1, Mariners come back to tie it in the ninth, down by 3, Mariners come back to tie it in the 13th or 14th (not sure which) and then win it 8-7 in the 15th. Epic come from behind victory.

| As a Mariner's fan, I'd concur with that statement.

| Barry Zito has given up 2 runs in his last three starts.
The Giants are above .500 (For probably another 20 minutes)
I am a happy boy. |

| I'm still waiting for the Jays to crash. I though it might have been against the Royals, but then we came back and swept the Orioles. The scary thing is that Rios isn't hitting well at all and our rotation is in shambles.

| The Braves need to give Schafer a rest.Hes got a bad wrist and its obviously affecting his swing right now so he needs some time off. Also a good clean up hitter is a need. We've got Chipper, but hes a 3 batter all the way,McCann is a 5 hitter if you ask me and Francoeur and Kotchman dont have consistent power. It'd also be nice if everyone were healthy.

As a baseball fan...well at least it appears the system is starting to work.

| I am really surprised. He has the reputation of an extremely hard working hitter with one of the most natural, closest-to-perfect swings in the game today (according to an article I read in ESPN magazine recently). So I thought maybe he was one of the good ones. What a disappointment. |

| I'm really surprised with the Jays this year, they have a 20-10 record so far! Last night they crushed the Angels 13-1, and the second game against the Angels just started, so i'm off.

| I've never liked Manny's attitude. I am both happy and sad about this, in reality. He is very remorseful, and claims that this was an error in a medication choice made by his doctor, but accepts full responsibility. I totally respect that.
At the same time, it is always nice to see something bad happen to the Dodgers, who are now pretty much the Giants, with less pitching. |

| Manny got what he deserved, not even enough! I can't see a doctor subscribing a female fertility drug to him for . . . anything really.
The Jays lost 6-1 yesterday in their second and last game in the Jays vs Angels mini series (are the two game series called mini series?)
The first of a three game series against Oakland start today, I hope they Jays can take this series but i'm kind of a fan of Oakland, so it should be a fun series to watch.
and in response to "tmlfan123" about waiting for the Jays to crash, I really don't see them "crashing" anytime soon, I mean they may very well start losing more because their record is exceptional right now, but I think they will stay fairly sturdy and hit the playoffs. Thats my prediction anyway.
Why do I say this? Since Cito Gaston took over as manager last year (he was manager or coach when the Jays won both their world series) their record has been 75-40 something. Thats over a hundred games that the Jays have playing like they are a playoff contender, I think their secret lies in Gaston, and I believe he can bring to great levels once again.
