So if current trends keep up, the Bravos could indeed make up those two games that they will undoubtedly be within. My question is this: If there's a tie between the Braves and the Rockies, how does that get decided? Mini pre-playoff series? Has this ever been an issue before? | Washington-Florida-Washington? Yikes. The Braves could be right there. The Florida series is the key. Florida has been playing just as well as Atlanta.
The Giants have the Cubs and DBacks at home, then the Padres on the road. The race isn't quite over. Especially since, for once, the Rockies are the ones with an unfavorable schedule. They get the Cards at home, and finish at the Dodgers. Hm. |

| Tigers veterans are getting it done. Magglio, Placido, and Carlos Guillen have all been great lately, not to mention Nate Robertson (who would have thought he would be in the Tigers starting rotation going into the playoffs).

Hill and Lind have been fantastic for the Jays this year. At the very least, we have two cornerstone on offense going forward.

| Jays take the Mariners in extra innings. Good game, Lind had a really good game. They were losing 4-2 in the 8th and lind hit a 2-run homerun to tie it. In the bottom of the tenth Lind cracks another homerun (solo) to win the game, 5-4.

| I'm disgusted that two games in a row the M's have a two run lead going into the eighth and can't seal the deal. Horrible. They should have taken three out of four in that series, not one. |
