Ichiro has been one of my favourites for years. I think either the first or second baseball game I ever went to, I looked up when the Mariners were coming to Toronto, and then my dad and I went and sat in the right-field seats behind him(and Alex Rios). And last night they lost. Honestly, give us any game we're leading by 3 runs or less, and we WILL find a way to lose it.

I feel like I shouldn't even say anything... but...

Wow. The Giants have scored 27 runs in 3 days, to go along with great starts from Penny, Lincecum and Zito. They are 2 back in the loss column, and going for a sweep of Colorado tomorrow with Cain on the mound. What on Earth is going on with this team?

I think those two losses to LA totally demoralized them.....and maybe they are fired up just a bit.

It's 11:17 now. After allowing a go ahead run to Pittsburg in the top of the 13th, Andre Ethier hit a walk off 2 run homer to win it for the Dodgers. This guy is going to be real good.

I wish there was a better angle on that video. From the angle they show it's tough to really substantiate the claim that Posada ran into him on purpose. Everything else from there though I'm not touching with a 10 foot pole.

The umpire saw the whole thing and called Posada's "unsportsmanlike elbow" a "cheap shot".
If I were pitching for the Jays while playing those Yankees, I'd probably be being even more unsportsmanlike than Posada by throwing my fastest pitches at his elbows.
Thumbs up for Carlson, somebody's gotta stand up for the team every now and then.
