Watched the Yanks get stomped again.

In other news, the Braves are tanking quicker than they took off.

Yeah I am a Jays fan!
Isnt McGowan supose to return next month thats what i thought it was. And that was why i was saying next year this is going to be a solid team. Great pitching and great hitting.

What a great game today! Diamonbacks @ Giants, of course. Dan Haren vs. Jonathan Sanchez.

Man, both pitchers were great. Plenty of 1-2-3 innings in the beginning. Haren finally bent a little, and the Giants manufactured a run. Both bullpens were good, with only the DBacks' pen allowing a solo home run to Torres (2nd of his career @ 31 years old. Fastest home run trot I've ever seen.)

I love a good pitchers duel.

Sanchez gave up two hits in 6 2/3. And he's the Giants' 5th starter. Sanchez has a ton of potential.

Lincecum says he found the problem in his delivery, so I am hoping that he will be coming around soon. The Giants will be dangerous if their staff starts throwing like they can and have in the past.

Here's a trivia question for everyone: when was the last time "Giants" and "dangerous" were used in the same sentence?

sorry I couldn't resist. You could say the same about my Jays.

Lincecum: 8 IP, 0 ER, 5 H, 13 SO, ND.

ND!!

A no decision with that line... *sigh* The Giants need to start hitting the ball.

Edit: Lincecum comes out, the Giants give up two runs in the 9th. Ugh.

The Yankees are losing 22 - 4 right now. Its incredisomely (incredibly awesome) how bad they are doing in their new ballpark.

That wasn't the point... The point was to show the so-called "curse" on the new Yankee Stadium.

Wow...Padres beat Brad Lidge. That's his first blown save in 54 tries. Of course if you'd have told me the Padres would be 4 games over 500 at any point in the season I'd have thought you were crazy.

At current pace, Heath Bell will have 94 saves at season end...just saying

Three great starts in a row for the Giants! Randy Johnson gave up 1 hit and 2 walks in 7 innings in a combined 1 hitter.

That was awesome! Hes one of my favorite all time pitchers. I'm really pulling for him to get his 300th victory.
