I'm watching the Tigers and the Twins right now tied 7-7 in the mid 10th.. go Tigs!

We have the best pitching in the league, at least in the runs given up category. Ah, well, one thing at a time. Glad to see us above .500, and not blathering in mediocrity like last year. |

#169 | | Cool enough Administrator | Last night, Tim Lincecum took a no hitter into the 7th. Jonathan Sanchez just lost a perfect game on an error in the 8th. Still has a no-no. This is insane. |

This is insane. | Is it? you're playing the team that is last in the NL in BA, Runs, Hits and Slugging. We're also second to last in ERA, and our current ace is Kevin Correia... |

#171 | | Cool enough Administrator | Major league hitters... Gwynn, Kouzmanoff, Gonzalez... You can't really argue that it is impressive. And Sanchez was demoted to the bullpen a couple of weeks ago. He's only pitching tonight because Randy Johnson is hurt.
Correia as an ace: LOL. He was our #5 last year. |

#172 | | Cool enough Administrator | That's it! Jonathan Sanchez, no hitter! He pitched a perfect game, and the Padres only reached on an error! Amazing game. I've been waiting for this forever. |

Correia as an ace: LOL. He was our #5 last year. | Gwynn is young and streaky. Kouz is batting under .240 and Gonzalez is slumping. If those guys could get going at the same time we'd have a formidable top half of the line-up. You are right though, a no-hitter that would have been a perfect game except for an error is impressive against any team.
and yeah...Correia. Peavy and Young are both on the DL. Believe me, I'm sad about it. |

#180 | | Cool enough Administrator | Minimum is 3 batters per inning for 9 innings, 27. Because of the error, he faced 28. Therefore, not a perfect game. |
