The available size right there is a Small/Medium. How many inches roughly is that? Im fairly certain I have a... decent sized head. Id hate to buy that and it turn out to be too small to wear.

Most places have a size chart. If not, just google "hat size chart," find something that looks reasonably accurate, go find a tailor's tape measure, measure your head, and see where you fall. I have a ridiculously big head; I can't even wear most XL hats. I'd need something custom-made. My wife has a ridiculously small head; she can't even wear XS hats, and needs old retro things that were, also for the most part, custom-made. Suffice to say that hats are definitely not one-size-fits-all items. There is huge variation in the size of heads, we're just not familiar with it since it's not something we usually think about.

Also...

I did some reading and found that Fedoras were originally a womens fasion, and then a mens fasion.

And some sites have them listed under womens clothing, and others have them listed under a general men/womens section.

Is there a difference in the type of fedora a man would wear from the type a woman would wear? Or are they all interchangeable?
