Probably somebody who has no artistic integrity and will do anything for attention.

ie: The Rock.

In the "Race to Witch Mountain" commercials, I noticed that they don't even mention The Rock. Instead they mention some Dewayne Johnson guy. And after watching the commercial, I can only assume that this new movie is not a remake of Escape to Witch Mountain.

It's not. It's meant to be a re-imagining of "Escape" but not an actual remake. I expect that Dwayne Johnson will continue to go by his given name for his movie roles and leave his alter-ego, "The Rock", strictly for wrestling related activity.

I read somewhere (can't find the link now) that Stallone is working on a remake of Death Wish.

That same article mentioned the Red Dawn remake. I STILL think that one will have to suck.

I know that was in the works, but I'm not sure if it's still in the works. Stallone has a lot of stuff in the works or in talks these days.

This is a great thread. Pop culture is getting so boring it can only puke out crap, then eat it again digesting it for the masses.

Oh look, a Nightmare On Elm Street remake.

Now this is getting downright foolish.

http://www.darkhorizons.com/news/135...-fantastic-4-/

A Fantastic Four remake? What a joke.

Oh man...I loved the semi-campy feel of the Fantastic 4 movies. In many ways, they captured the feel of the comic books better than most other comic book movies.
