Looking for new MMO to waste my life on...
I'm looking for an MMO where I'll know people, so what do you guys play?

WoW players need not apply. I wont play that again.

Semi retired WoW player here, WoW is the first MMO I've played, so I don't know many others.

But, a good friend of mine swears FFXI is the best MMO. I have been tempted, many times, to join him, but it doesn't run on mac.

I am also hoping the new star wars MMO is not going to suck.

I'm not really interested in FFXI, my friend played and the level system is annoying... And I too am hoping the KOTOR MMO will be worthwhile... but we have a bit to wait on that...

Honestly, the only option here is Neverwinter Nights, on the proper server...and it just so happens I have the proper server...
The DMs are fantastic...usually only between 9-14 people on but it's fantastic...PM if you want more info.

I have played NwN, it was only okay... and yes, I play 3.5 every Friday night...

I'm waiting for The Old Republic. It has the potential to be awesome or horrible.

One I also had my eye on is The Agency. Non-traditional MMO, but definitely cool looking.

That DC comics MMO.

And whatever Blizzard's new MMO is going to be (I'm guess Starcraft, because that makes the most sense).

That's all I know of that sounds interesting in the future.

As for current games... Give EVE Online a shot? I've heard really good things about it.

DC MMO has been canceled. There is, however another superhero mmo coming out in June called Champions online. I'm gonna play it, and I will more than likely play Old Republic. The thing is, I'm wanting something for now.

Definitely not canceled.

Can't say I've got anymore suggestions for games to play now... 'Cause you've pretty much ruled out every game out there with your list.

Unless you want to play Warhammer or EVE Online, I think you're stuck until something better comes along.

I got into Lord of the Rings Online a few months ago, and I'm enjoying it. It's my first MMO, so I can't really compare it to any others, but the community seems pretty great so far. Seems like there's a fair mix of hardcore MMO fans and folks like me who are more casual. Plus, I think they're running a free trial right now... www.lotro.com for more info.
