You know something. I just looked about the exclusives that I listed and realized something about them.

The ones on 360, I want to PLAY.

The ones on PS3, I want to EXPERIENCE.

In other words, the games on 360 sound way more fun than my choices on PS3. The only ones I think that I would have fun playing on PS3 are Noby Noby Boy and Valkyria Chronicles. MGS4, I want to experience in the way I've experienced all the other Metal Gear games. Play it for a while until I come to the realization that it's practically unplayable and then watch videos of people playing it. (Yes, I do realize they made the controls better, etc, etc). The same with LBP. I feel like I'd have more fun just watching someone play or create crazy levels than I would playing it.

So, 360 it is.

And in case you're wondering, the other games I'll be getting are SFIV, Burnout Paradise and Beyond Good & Evil 2 (whenever it launches). And then I'll get XBLA games, too. But that's about it. Not interested in much else currently.

Thanks everybody!

I started a 360 Vs. PS3 thread back in April. I went with the 360 and have no regretted my decision.

The NetFlix streaming is a huge plus. We rarely even mail in our DVDs anymore.

I don't think this would change my decision, but I didn't think I would need the PS3's blu-ray when I chose the 360...jump forward 6 months, we bought a high definition projector for our media room. So that blu-ray player may have been a nice perk.

And get the Orange Box for Portal, in the event that you haven't played it yet.

Definitely been playing that for a long time. Thank you, PC!

The pinnacle of gaming, IMO.

Yes you do... Well... more accurately you just need to get Portal. The rest is a throwaway as far as I'm concerned.

This game is strangely fun and addictive, and only 5 bucks.

Welp, got a 360 this afternoon. Just hookin' it up. I got Banjo-Kazooie with it. I'll hook up Live when I can get around to affording the dang wireless adapter.

First impression - That thing is HUGE.

Haha my first impression was that is was smaller than my old Xbox.

Not that that's really saying anything.

The old ones were ridiculous.

When is PS4 due to come out, and how much better will it be than PS3 (and how much will it sell for)?

I don't have any console system (gave my dad my PS2 mini when I got married), but in the next year or two we may be at the point where we upgrade to a HDTV and perhaps a Blu-ray player, in which case a PS3 is attractive because it's a Blu-ray player but will also allow me to play MGS:4 which I've been lusting over ever since it came out.

Then again, my brother, cousin, and childhood best friend all have 360 and are active on there, so there's a pull there.
