Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3

Just got this yesterday. I've played a few missions in the Soviet campaign, a few skirmish matches, and one ranked online match. Aside from the guy I played in the match online being a complete rear-end (I freaking hate playing with people like that. he replied to my friendly "hi" at the beginning with "smb," which I can assume stands for something I wont repeat here. then proceeded to make fun of my being bad after he won and told me i should quit when i explained i just got the game today. meh, whatever. he was probably eleven.), I am loving this.

Freaking war bears and giant robot samurai. Can't go wrong with that.

I love playing against guys like that. It's so funny to me.

I got the demo about a week ago and played through it. I rather enjoyed it. The way it controlled was a bit foreign to me primarily because I've never played a Red Alert game, and the last C&C I played was the original, I think.

Might pick it up. After all, it's only thirty bucks.

Well, they keep changing the control methods on it. The Original, Tiberian Sun, and Red Alert all used a horrible method of building where you had to scroll through two lists. RA2 added tabs (BRILLIANT idea, holy crap), C&C3 made the tabs better (put them in 3x3 grids instead of lists), and now RA3 kept the tabs, took the security point system from Generals, put everything back on grids (unlike C&C3 where it was all put it where you want), and condensed ore into ore mines instead of fields.

I'm used to starcraft, so of course its a bit foreign for me, but they finally added a MUCH needed attack-move, and I used to own at the original game, so maybe I'll get good with time.

Get it. We'll play.

So is there anyone here that does have it that would like to play sometime? I am getting my hindquarters handed to me on a silver platter online and I really need the practice against human opponents.
