Things are going alright. I've had a fairly busy weekend and am not looking forward to working over my spring break. I have an optometrist appointment tomorrow and hate going there. Even though I wear contacts I don't like anyone or anything coming near my eyes.

Liam, I promise I will get to your question about music and music gear. I received some new pedals Friday so those are still trying to be worked into my gear. So yeah, the list is coming, I promise.

I'm tired and classes resume tomorrow. Spring break wasn't much of a break as I worked every day; however, it was nice to have time away from college. Also, I'm running out of room in my room for my music gear. I have way too much stuff in here, but I like all of it. I just can't find a place to keep putting a lot of things.

Oh yeah, my fiance had her wisdom teeth cut out Wednesday. She looked like a squirrel. A lot of the swelling as gone down and the bruising has just started to occur. I have some work to get done before classes tomorrow so I must end my update with that.

wisdom teeth are brutal. did she get all of them out at once?

(ps don't tell her this, but it's a lie that it'll only hurt for about a week. I had mine out right before fall break when I was 19, and the week classes resumed (meaning two weeks later) I had to be excused from class because I was still in so much pain. I tried to be brave and stick it out because it was a night class, but my professor asked me to please leave and get some sleep because she couldn't stand seeing me in the back row suffering. so...just be extra nice to your fiancee for the next couple of weeks. )

Yeah, she got all four out at once. Wisdom teeth are brutal. I had mine out back in August. It took me a few days before I could eat solid food, by about a week and a half I was about back to normal. I still waited a while before I ate anything hard like chips or croutons.

I am dead tired. I am going to bed once I finish reading through the rest of the unread posts. I'm going the NASCAR race this weekend. It should be interesting since I know nothing about NASCAR, but I figured with free tickets and not having to go too far, I shall go see what it's about. Man, even though I dislike getting up and going to my job, I enjoy the perks.

Working today and spending all weekend at the race track. I'm not a fan of NASCAR, but hey, with free tickets and free hospitatility passes who is to complain? The only problem is I have a bunch of stuff due Monday for class and I'll be at the track all weekend. Oh well, at least I don't have to work Monday.

Oh, I bought Apples to Apples last weekend and played it for the first time. Great game because it's so easy anyone can play and not have to worry about feeling embarrased.

I've decided I enjoy suite tickets much more than actual seating.

I know, you don't get to smell and hear it, but it's much more enjoyable in a box than out there. In the suite you can carry on a conversation and in the crowds you can't hear a thing and neither can anyone else.

I totally agree with that, though I've never been to a Nascar event myself. I went to a WWE wrestling event a year or so ago, and was lucky enough to enjoy the suite my brother had (his law firm has their own suite that associates get to use for certain events). It was so much fun because, as you said, we could carry on a conversation whereas in a loud crowd, you couldn't. Plus, the food was amazing, and we had the choice of either watching the event from the balcony or inside on the plasma HDTV. Lots of fun.

So when is your semester over?

Haha, the free food was my favorite part.

My semester is over with exams ending sometime in the last week or so of April and I graduate on May 9th. At this point with it being a little over a month I'm still feeling both ways about it. I'm ready to get out and get it done, but I don't want to face the real world.

Update time:

It's brief and to the point. Life has been hectic. I've worked and went to school all week. Spent most of the hours of the days away from home. Yesterday was my sister's birthday so I'm taking her and my family out to eat for her birthday tomorrow evening. She is no longer a teenager, which is kind of weird, but I'm not either so it just makes me feel old. Saturday I'm going with some people from my college to help build a house with Habitat for Humanity so that's going to be cool. We're striving to get the whole thing in two weeks.

Still looking at PA gear for my band. I now know why so many bands rent. Tomorrow is Friday so I work and have class and then go back to work. The race went well last weekend. I had a lot of hot wings. To give you an example they put some out Sunday morning at 9:30 and I had some. I think I already posted something about the race, but that's alright.

Today I got to talk a little with a friend from high school and though we go to the same college we don't see each other very much. We're both graduating this year so life is going to hit us. Of course, he's going to be a pharmacist and I'm an accountant. I'm supposed to go get wings with him and another guy I graduated sometime soon. It's good to spend time catching up with old friends. Even though they are the way that they are, I miss the good times we shared such as hot gluing a piece of paper on the arm of the first friend mentioned. Geeze, have I mentioned that fact that I'm getting old?

As I'm about a month out from graduation, it's beginning to sink in. I mean, I felt this way back in high school, but this time it's even more different. I knew that after high school things would never be the same, and they haven't, but now I know my life is really going to change. I'm not sure if I'm going to like the free time that I'm going to have or not. I mean, the ability to not have to do anything once I come home from work will be nice, but I'm just not sure if I'm ready to work all day every day. Oh well, I can't change it and it's coming fast.

Oh, and I've been pondering trading/selling the Dual Rectifier in order to fund the purchase of a Splawn. I'm just not sure if I really want to go through the hassle of not only moving the head but also the cab and trying to find a cab I like. The fact that I don't really have the ability to hear a Splawn doesn't help either way. Either way, that's all for now folks. I've got some homework to finish and I really need to get in bed early tonight.

I am over half way there, I believe that classifies me as old.
