I'm KINDA in the same boat. I may have liked Hide Nothing even more than The Moon is Down though. They all have their memorable moments.
The Moon is Down was easily Chris Carrabbas best work.
Hide Nothing was definitely a very strong album. It felt like FSF had finally achieved the sound they wanted with that album.
I'm not sure if I'd call TMID Chris' best work though. It's definitely very strong, and he writes very poetically on that album. From a conceptual, story-telling standpoint though, I am quite partial to his So Impossible EP.

I only ever heard a few FSF songs. They seemed pretty good and I'm not sure why I never explored them further... *goes to look for some more FSF music*
Since it been silent for a few days I'll change it up...what's the best mewithoutYou album?
Hmm...My favorite is definitely Brother, Sister, but they did evolve their sound across the three albums they put out. Brother, Sister definitely sounds the most polished and produced of the three, but I would understand the argument that they were all good for different reasons.

I agree with you whole-heartedly on each point you made thesteve. I would have to choose Bro, Sis too. Lyricly I thought it was the best, aragment-wise I thought it was the best, and musically, the best.
