A lot of internet projects are big creative flops, but I enjoyed this one.

Neil Patrick Harris plays an aspiring supervillian who wants to impress a girl — and it's a musical. It was directed by Joss Whedon of Buffy the Vampire Slayer fame.

Joss Whedon is brilliant, as usual.

It's also on DVD now and is well worth the money if only for "Commentary! The Musical". Only Joss Whedon would do a commentary for something as a musical and convince nearly everyone involved in the production to participate.

I think it's ok to dig up old threads in movies? Anyways I really really super enjoyed this flick. I hope they can do either a sequel or a movie in the same vein. I also thought it was interesting that Whedon brought back the main character from Firefly.

Last I heard, Whedon was actively working on a sequel. I'm super excited about this.

Whedon is very loyal to his actors and they seem to be loyal to him. When Firefly was canceled much of the cast appeared on either Angel or Buffy. And a bunch of the Angel and Buffy cast reappeared on Dollhouse.

Plus, Nathan Fillion is a brilliant actor. I don't see how anyone would not want to bring him back.

I finally watched this through a few weeks ago. Incredibly enjoyable. I can't wait for a sequel.
