Friend needs help finding a really cheap car.
I probably rarely visit this section of the forums rarely; but I need some advice from whoever knows of some really cheap cars[or for free] a friend of mine wants to buy. So is anybody here from the Jersey[North Jersey] area who knows of some free cars or really cheap ones?

Craigslist around here will occasionally have supposedly running cars for less than $1000

That would be key, cheap/free cars are not exactly working very good (thus the price) and so you have lots of liability. I hear that police auctions can be a cheap way to get impounded cars though
