It doesn't come form saying one of the culturally defined no-no words. |

| Neither FF5 or Underĝath have explicit lyrics. iTunes messes up on stuff a lot. They have The Chariot listed under pop. Also, about Christians writing explicit lyrics. Almost all of us have cursed before, if a Christian curses in a song, it's no different that you cursing with your buddies. It's still wrong, but don't be shocked. And, to whoever mentioned Pedro the Lion, they are amazing

This is probably cheap, but I just wanted to mention something (btw, did you repost this? I could have swore I read this last night.)
Last night I was on iTunes and looked up Luti-kriss (old Norma Jean). They have them listed under Rap/HipHop.

Exactly my point regarding Luti-Kriss. Apple can be pretty low sometimes as to not recognize stuff like this... Quote:

I don't curse because I have been taught all my life anot to, but I have some reasons to believe it's the same as other words, but that would lead into a totally different discussion.

Anyway. I like some Christians in bands who occasionally curse.
Paul used some harsh language, and I just learned that there is an ANE equivalent to an F-Bomb in the joseph narrative. Potiphar's wife uses it.

But that's interesting -- do you have a link to a source that talks about that word? I'm just curious. |

No source, he mentioned it in class, when we asked why we didn't know the word when we know the normal word for having sex with. It is imperative and an odd form that is apparently quite crass.
