| I think the poster may be saying this because Itunes sometimes has Explicit next to songs... And at times its wrong...
The video Kounty Gentlemen is listed as explicit on itunes... now anyone who has seen the video knows there is nothing wrong with it...
It isnt the band has explicit lyrics... Its Itunes is stoopid and doesn't know what it is talking about...
Here is Underoath's explicit song
Prop open the door
I can actually, see my breath tonight
That doesn't mean I'm breathing
Crack a smile, just for the sake of it
This could take a while
A long while snip

| i don't have an issue with underoath's stye or look, i have an album. but the song the impact of reason is marked expicit. same with kountry gentleman from family force 5. is it just a glitch in the itunes system? but if a non believer sees that underoath is a christian band and they have explicit music, they would think that christians are just a bunch of hypocrites and why would they want to be a christian? |

| How would non-christians take a look bands like Underoath and FF5 as 'hypocritcal?'
I'm not really a fan of FF5; and I've yet to listen to Underoath more often, but I don't think their lyrics are explicit. Could u be a little more specific?

| Its all an Itunes mistake... Itunes is very glitchy and all that...
I know alot of metalcore bands are labeled as pop... And things like that... |

A long while snip | Actually, some of the lyrics remind me of the style used in Bob Dylan's 'Knockin on Heaven's Door.'

| Not familiar with that... but this song almost has the same name
Wake up, and Put on your Armor....
We rush to the Battle Scene....
Fire and Brimstone we will bring to the fight
and Souls will be lifted from here to the sky
and He will descend from the clouds
Like a thief in the night snip

If we're out in the community loving people and genuinely caring about them, see the word "EXPLICIT" on iTunes won't change their perception. |

| Also, honestly, I've met VERY few non-Christians who would even think twice about a Christian using profanity or writing "explicit" songs. To me, this whole idea that such things "ruin our witness" seems largely like a myth perpetuated by conservative Christians who themselves are the only ones offended by it. |
