Not at the moment, no, but thank you for putting it away for me. =)

What is going on in my life.... oi. Let's see....

1. I got a new computer (mine was broke last time I posted, I believe).

2. I got a job at Office Depot, which I adore to the point of finding excuses to go there even when it's my day off.

3. I battled the administration at school over the break, with financial aid, loans, and classes. Finally, it ended up with them dropping classes I needed and overlapping other classes I needed with all the other classes I needed, so that I could only go part time this semester.... and when I'm going into debt $6000 a semester, I didn't like the prospect of sticking around for that to happen later and keep me around for semesters longer than I had anticipated....

4. So, that, coupled with the financial aid difficulties, and a whole bunch of other stuff, as well as a desire to get into graphics, but the prospect proving impossible if I stayed the Art Center, I transferred to the community college, into the associates business graphics degree.... which I will be finished with in probably a year and a half.

5. I'm in a class with my old friend from high school.

6. I've been experimenting with photos and feel I've kind of developed a personal style. Also, I got picked to have a piece of my choice, showcased at the One Up gallery with a whole bunch of other folks from Flickr group here in town, at the end of next month. I've been uploading a lot to Flickr lately, in lieu of CGR. Here's the piece I want to put in the show.

And.... that's about it.

Kyle Andrews, Paul Alan, The Black Ghosts, Thrice, Brave Saint Saturn, Krystal Meyers, Castledoor, Jets to Brazil, and The Arctic Monkeys are my recent infatuations.

eMusic is the best thing ever, too.

I have a paper due on Thursday. I didn't really miss reading, or writing papers. I miss doing projects now. Meh.

I went to work today, and stuck inside my nametag on my apron was a bin label that had "DATE?" written in sharpie on the back.

Hmmph. I told my manager, and he said he would tell the guys that he found it and that I hadn't seen it, and that if they don't leave me alone, he'll break their legs.

Totally. He was totally concerned, and made it clear to me that he expected that my work environment be somewhere that I feel comfortable - and that if any of his other employees were making me feel uncomfortable, he would take care of it in the most tactful way possible.

I really like working there. Srsly.

I really like that picture. You're lucky about having a good manager. I've never had one, but I've heard that there are bad ones out there. Hopefully they will stay away from me.
