| I've seen Owl City mentioned more than any other musician lately it seems. I've listened to some of his music. I liked it. It's kind of quirky, fun, and really laid back eh? but I don't know if I'll buy any of it though. Hmm. Apparently he is a Christian. I didn't know that until someone was mentioning it today. Interesting.
I saw him perform on some TV show too. He had a few backup musicians with him. It was really cool. |

| Yeah, he is a Christian. They actually sell his album at my church, which is cool. I know at least one song, "Meteor Shower" is pretty clearly a salvation message. I also think his album "Of June" can possibly be interpreted to be mostly about his faith, specifically "Airway". Pretty neat. We'll see if he says something about it at the show.... I hope he does, that'd be awesome.
I'm really loving it. Yay.
I'm having a pretty tough week. Ugh. Having to make a bunch of big decisions. And also deal with some pretty crazy people on a few projects I'm working on. Blergh. Prayers would be appreciated.
In other news, this week is also pretty cool because a lot of things have changed from past weeks, for the better, and I think I've learned something valuable about God's will and him working in our lives, and also my tendency to quit walking by faith and relying on other means.
Rawr. That's about all for now. I'm going to a halloween party with my little tomorrow, dressed as a "Maiden China". LOL.

| I am now looking up owl city on youtube.
I saw Waterdeep on Wednesday and it was the best concert I've seen in years. I also saw Relient K on Tuesday, with Copeland and Barcelona (from Seattle). That was also highly enjoyable. |

I should probably look more into that. My brother seems to really like whatever CD he was sent, and we like the same things a lot of times. Quote: |

| I'd be interested to hear what you've learned, unless it's personal and you don't want to share. Quote: |

| Saw it. It's cute. haha....and yes better than the other one that you said you were naive about....although, that made me laugh. Sorry. ...and of course the song popped into my head. At least the chorus..that's the only part of it I know. |

| So. Owl City. Equals AMAZINNNN.
Live string ensemble, real acoustic instruments paired with electric keyboards, synth, pre-recorded techno trackes.... Breanne Duren in all her backup-vocal-awesomeness, Adam Young being his totally akward but very nice and entertaining self, encore song, dancing, lights....... totally awesome show. Oh man.
Seriously one of the best acts I've ever seen.
So. Conclusion. This is some stuff you should listen to:
Owl City, of course.
Breanne Duren (who is also collaborating on the new Robbie Seay Band album).
Port Blue (Adam Young's instrumental project).
Swimming With Dolphins (if you want to hear more Breanne, check out "Sillhouettes" song).
Brooke Waggoner (wood-nymph crossed with Nashville crossed with awesomeness).
Something you should not ever listen to, ever: The Scene Aesthetic.
Unless, of course, you're a pre-teen-emo-wannabe-who-makes-out-with-your-wannabe-boyfriend-at-concerts-because-you-haven't-learned-about-controlling-your-hormones-yet and are just in love with stupid acoustic-ated lyrical mumbo jumbo like "I will love you till the day I die" and "I said I loved you and I promise I meant every word" and "you're the most beautiful girl in the world" or any other over-used and very, very lame sappy teenage hormone-based love lie.
Pretty lame. And they also were the only band who thought it was cool to use bad words in their stupid songs. And the lead singer sounded like this guy. And no, I'm totally not joking.
Anyway, pretty awesome show. I loved it.

| Glad you enjoyed the show
Opening acts are always hit or miss. The last opening act I saw at a concert sucked too...so, yeah. |

| The big sister thing is going uber-awesome-ly. : ) She is such a blessing to me!!
Since you asked, some prayer on her behalf would be so appreciated. She is being faced with a fourth grade teacher who gives assignments to research and learn how to do magic spells and "control" magic. I had some good conversation with her this last time we hung out, and I am praying that God would do something big in her life in this area to keep her from these occult snares. So yeah, if you think about it, prayer would be awesome for her.
I had an AWESOME weekend with my bestest boy in the whole world. <3
