| I would imagine tomorrow will be a slow day at work. I don't think many people go shopping for office supplies during the Super Bowl. Of course, I could be mistaken as I have been many times before.

| I'm not expecting it to be very busy either. It should be an easy money kind of day. |

| Have you tried telemarketing?
I dont normally recomend that to people, but if you are having trouble finding a job, its an easy thing to get into. Most companies will hire you on the spot when you show up and ask for a job. And its "work" experience you can put down on an application at another company.
Sarah, I was on iTunes the otherday downloading decemberists songs, and I ran across a song titled "After The Bombs", and I was thinking it was something else, so I got it. Then when I was listening to it I was like "Dude... this isnt even on the record!"(or maybe it is, and I just dont remember it). Anyways, if you havnt heard it, its a really nice song.
I hope your day goes well.

It's worth looking into, but just be aware that there are companies out there that do telemarketing that aren't really looking to hire people who are still in school, because you can't just take a few weeks off for full time training for a job like that.
I'd say the easiest jobs to get into are going to be food places or retail places. For example, my job only hires part-time work, period, unless you're a manager. Places like that rely on high school and college kids to work, and that is definitely good work experience too. there are a lot of places that would even hire you to work only weekends.
My very first job was in a thrift store, while I was still in high school. I got the job on the spot, and kept it for a long time. It was a very enjoyable job, with flexible hours, and the like. I'd say looking into a music store or a guitar store is a great idea. (If you were the one who told me that, Caleb, lol). Quote:

| I don't know, that song was on my album. However, I downloaded the one from iTunes, and that might have been an iTunes exclusive track, I dunno. But yeah, I love that song. =)
My day was long and boring. And I dunno what was up today, but man.... people were being extremely rude to me. I'm really friendly to everyone when I'm at the register.... and it was like my being friendly was making people mad today. I had about ten customers snap at me just because I asked them something like "would you like a bag" or "did you need a chairmat with that chair" or something. Gosh.
Meh, whatevs.
NEway. I want wednesday to get here. At least I think I do. I may not anymore once it gets here..... |

| Oi. It was the worst day today at work. JT had found an open headset package a couple weeks ago, and read the number to me to write in the known theft log - and today my manager was like, "What is this number? It has a letter in it, so it's not a UPC code. Can you find the package of the same product so we can find the UPC for it?" and for some reason I just felt really anxious about it because I hadn't even found the product or remembered what it looked like or anything.... but I'd written the number that JT gave, and signed for it, and ugh. :/
Then I felt kinda stupid about it because Schreck was laughing at me for having a number in there.... and yeah. After that it was just kinda downhill. I was trying to do like a million things at once, and then Mike was helping me.... and then my manager told Mike to stop helping and get on the floor, and so I told him it was my fault, that he was helping me..... and then later Schreck told me that my manager was mad at me because I butted in when he was telling Mike to do something..... and then I thought I was going to cry, and customers were still being kinda rude today and I wasn't getting any rewards signed up or any of the market basket items...... ugh. And I wasn't getting things done because I kept getting distracted, and then I kept feeling like such a drama queen..... *facepalm*
It was just awful. I booked it out of there at one o'clock. Sheesh.
I did tell my manager I was sorry for getting in the way of what he was telling Mike, but that I had really needed his help and stuff..... and then Schreck was laughing at me again because he had just been joking around with me, and my manager wasn't mad at all.
I think I was just really tired from working four days in a row, and all mornings or late nights, too. Oi.
Anyway, I'm really tired. I'm going to take a nap. Gosh. |

| Hah... emo children of the world... lawl.
Sarah, I know how you feel about not wanting to go to work on sunny days.
When the sun is full out, no clouds in the sky, and no humidity, I just want to book it to the beach. Unfortuneately, Im always at work when the weather is PERFECT, not just exceptional, or good, or nice, but when its PERFECT Im always at work.
I dont know how you feel about Tom Milsons music (im sure Ive linked you to it in IRC) if you have heard any of it. But this video has some really nice music in it. The music, poetry, and videography were all done by Tom.

| I don't think I'd ever heard of him in my life. And I wasn't really impressed...... sorry.

| I got a wireless mouse at work today for four dollars. Ha. I also got colored pens on Monday for seventy cents. It's kinda fun working at an office supply store.
The web director at my church contacted me about a position as the secretary's assistant. It's only a few hours a week, paid, and he said he thinks I can get my foot in the door for the art department that way.
