Alright, picked this up a few months ago, thought I'd share my impressions.
Model: Squier Affinity Strat '04
Price: $50 used
Experience: I've been playing for 2 years now, I play mostly rhythm, but some hard rock. I play this guitar through a Zoom G1X into a Crate 15w amp
Features: standard 3 strat single coils, 1 volume, 2 tone, Tremolo, 5-way pickup selector, 21 frets, the guy who owned it before me painted the pickguard, knobs, pickup selector, pickup covers. looks pretty cool, but it took some getting used to.
Sound: I personally like the sound, except for some of the frets past the 12th buzz a little (this will probably be fixed when I get enough money to get a setup done), sounds okay distorted. Very high action when I got it.
Reliability: Sometimes I get a small "click" noise when I move the pickup selector to the neck, or neck/middle positions. Very hard to throw this guitar out of tune
Overall: I like this guitar alot, although it definitely needs a setup done.
