| PETA's Seakittens.... I just saw this on Fox and thought I'd share... http://www.peta.org/sea_kittens/
You really can't make this up.
I like my cat-sea-kitten breaded and fried, with maybe a little lemon on top.
EDIT:
from the webiste Quote:
People don't seem to like fish. They're slithery and slimy, and they have eyes on either side of their pointy little heads—which is weird, to say the least. Plus, the small ones nibble at your feet when you're swimming, and the big ones—well, the big ones will bite your face off if Jaws is anything to go by.
Of course, if you look at it another way, what all this really means is that fish need to fire their PR guy—stat. Whoever was in charge of creating a positive image for fish needs to go right back to working on the Britney Spears account and leave our scaly little friends alone. You've done enough damage, buddy. We've got it from here. And we're going to start by retiring the old name for good. When your name can also be used as a verb that means driving a hook through your head, it's time for a serious image makeover. And who could possibly want to put a hook through a sea kitten?

| Aren't hooks driven through the heads of worms for use as bait? Why aren't we calling worms "earth kittens"?

That is what this whole silly campaign is about. I'm not calling it silly because there is nothing to it, only because it's... silly. And kinda fun. I made a sea kitten!

| I'm pretty sure people eat kittens and cats in some parts of the world? I'm not entirely sure (as in I don't think it has a chance) this will be succesful! |

#12 | | Algebraic! | A friend of mine showed this to me a few months ago. I can't believe it's still running, and yet I'm not completely surprised.
Honestly, this campaign is all about getting to children. No adult is going to see "Sea Kittens" and suddenly not want to eat fish, but I could definitely see young children being really into this. |

| When will PETA give up? i mean... they're good for a laugh sometimes... but that's only when I'm very tired and EXTREMELY bored.

| Fish are way too delicious. The end. If cats tasted like a fresh Sockeye, I'd eat them too.
Edit: They'd have to be as easy to clean, as well....

I just remember winter in Chicago on crutches, having a peta protester kick my crutch out from under me because I wouldn't sign their stupid protest. Personally, thats as low as I have seen them go, kicking the crutch out from under a guy on crutches. (Just FWIW, that I doubt was Peta approved, but some dumb punk activist. who didn't respond well to "excuse me."
