| Bush leaves legacy of 'Bushisms' http://www.wfaa.com/sharedcontent/dw....349d4808.html
The best one:
Too many good docs are getting out of business. Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love with women all across this country. |

| My favourite is:
"Thank you, Your Holiness. Awesome speech." -April 16, 2008, at a ceremony welcoming Pope Benedict XVI to the White House. |

| I'm assuming he meant "the work that they love" or something similar. |

Everyone I meet I talk to them the same way I talk to everyone else. Im certain that if I ever met the Pope, as polite as I would probably be, a few "dude"'s and "awesome"'s and "sweet"s would slip out.
Those three words make up 90 percent of all words that I speek.
And some of those "bushisms" on that list, funny though they may be, just seemed like something a Texan would say. We have a way of expressionating ourselves that makes more sense to us than to non-texans.

| My favorite is his butchering of the "Fool me once: shame on you. Fool me twice: shame on me" axiom.
Or that clip from the fund-raising dinner, "Here we are: the haves...and the have-mores. Some call you the wealthy elite; I call you my base".

| Yes, if I'm remembering correctly it was from a dinner where they typically make cracks at their own expense, and quite a few politicians were there doing the same thing. |

| I still can't figure out what he could possibly have been trying to say... | It looks like ' with women' is a misplaced modifier.
A simple addition would help the sentence tremendously...
"Too many OB/GYNs aren't able to practice their love [of work] with women all across this country."
But then it would lose all its funny...

Because the only people that voted for Bush were wealthy and elite? No poor person or unprivileged person would ever have voted for him or donated money to him?
