Cool First Week of 2009
Here's an idea for a song to commemorate the first week of the New Year:

Play the verses and chorus of Larry Norman's classic "I Wish We'd All Been Ready" and in between each verse/chorus combo insert just the chorus from REM's "It's the End of the World as We Know It". The tempos are sooo... different it sounds a little quirky, but it works. More importantly the juxaposition of ideas/ perspective make you think!

I wish we'd all be ready, but I feel fine cuz' God's still in control!
