Chritmas/Christmas eve service?

Did anyone have a special Christmas or Christmas eve service at church? Last nights was the best I have ever attended. We had five baptisms and observed the Lords Super. It was the first time I've been to a Christmas eve service that included the observation of those ordinances. I was overcome with emotion and moved to tears at the realization that there might not be a better way to celebrate the birth of Jesus than by looking to His death, burial, resurrection and the redemption He offers.

Yep. It lasted just over an hour and half. It was really good. We have a special drama, and a mime group that was really amazing. We followed that by doing Christmas Caroling at the Nursing Home and then driving through the Festival of Lights.

We had two childrens services in the afternoon on Christmas Eve, a normal Christmas service later that night (the same service as Christmas morning), an 11pm service and then two services on Christmas morning. I played guitar at all of them and I liked the 11pm service the best, probably because we took communion.

We debated not going this year because our roads, particularly in our neighborhood, were so bad that we were worried that we might not be able to get home afterwards - however, we went to the earlier service and while we slipped around a little, we were ok Due to the weather conditions attendance was down but the mass was nice. Our priest took an interesting take on the sermon that I thought was intriguing. Definitely not the best Christmas service I've been to, but it was good.

Yes we do! It was really good, the message sort of went on throughout the night, the songs that were in it mixed in with the message. was really cool!
