TOMS Shoes

Who's heard of this company? Better yet, who has a pair? (Purple Girl, I'm talking to you!)

For every pair of shoes purchased, they donate a pair to a child in need in places like Argentina and South Africa. And the shoes are really cool. Next time I need shoes, I want to buy a pair of TOMS, but I have some questions first. Are their sizing instructions accurate? How long does it take to "break them in" and get them comfortable? Also, are they essentially flats or do they have any sort of arch support or anything like that?

Tell me about your TOMS!

They are the most comfortable shoes I own! They're like slippers! AND they have arch supports.

I volunteered to host a TOMS shoe event at my university and it was a huge hit. We sold several pair and my husband and I both bought and decorated our own. I wear them every single day. And I really didn't know how much more I'd love them after I got them.

They're about $40 each, but the way I think of it? It's like I'm buying a pair for me for $20 and a pair for a child for $20, which in the big scheme, is not asking a lot.

Watch this video, and you'll really understand the heart of TOMS shoes.

I have heard of them. Regretably I haven't purchased any of them. I guess that would've been neat gifts to get for Christmas, but I've already finished my Christmas shopping. Hopefully I can remember them for birthdays. I think it'd be nice to be able to tell the story behind the shoes when I give them to people.

Ooh, I don't know why I didn't think of it before, but I should totally get some tiny TOMS for my niece or nephew who's on the way.

Thanks for answering Carly, that actually makes me much more confident buying a pair (two pairs). I loves me some slippers!
