i don't think theres much on it yet because it's not fda approved or some crap like that. | josey:
WOW, interesting...I think very few parlors do those ones...
So what does your wife think of it all? can she picture you looking like this?

| the animated tattoo thing was an april fools joke a few years back IIRC. I doubt there are any out in the wild yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone is working on it.
As far as implants go though, that would be a fairly intensive procedure, not to mention that involves putting a lot of really nasty metals below the skin, I can't imagine that it would be healthy. There's a reason that subdermal implants tend to be surgical stainless, titanium, or some sort of composite. |

So, your first tat. (Will it be your last, too?)
What did your mom and dad think of it (assuming they have seen it...)? and do your mom or dad have tattoos, too?
Take care.

Take care. | For mine it took a little over an hour under the needle. Not bad actually, considering it was my first and I expected I needed breaks (which I didn't need). Yes, it was my first, definitely not the last, I'm getting another one (hopefully) in the next few weeks. Gotta come up with about $120. My mom didn't care I had it. (her reasoning is I'm 18 and it's my choice anyway) Dad is a different story, me and my brother hide our tattoo's from him, I think we'd both be smothered if he figured it out. Although, not sure he could see it anyway. We see him so rarely anyway that it doesn't matter, took him 4 years to figure out about one of my piercings. My mom has a tattoo now, actually sent me in first to get one and then she got one about a week after me. Lol
I love my tattoo and can't wait to get the next actually.

Hmm....sounds definitely like you really enjoyed the experience of becoming a tattooed grown up person, anyway.
Hope your dad's eyesight improves anyway, and that's he'll have a good relationship with you guys one day.
So your mom now has one...... Like, was it her idea that you went and got tatted, and then she would follow? (I scrolled back a bit and I see that she has been kind of gently encouraging you to get one for a few years.)
or maybe the fact that her daughter was going to get one made her not want to miss out....
and was hers in a faith related design, too, like yours is?
Take care.

Take care. | One can only hope, that's a totally different story though.
I wanted a tattoo since I was like 15 years old. my mom wanted one but the commitment was hard for her. So I went and got one and then she decided she just needed to pick a design and get one since she wanted one anyway. So it was kinda just her choice / my choice thing.
and no her's is just a flower on the top of her foot. not necessarily faith based.

Well, thanks. Interesting that you both went under the needle so soon together, after you guys had wanted to become tattooed women for years; but interesting that you chose different placements from each other.
So you do want more? and will you future ones be faith related in design, do you think?

I see.
Did you figure already what your placement for the next tattoo plan will be?
Sounds like you and your mom had your first placements well figured out, anyway.
For guys:
arm and chest are popular;
For ladies:
foot/ankle, shoulder, back or neck are, often.
Getting a full sleeve done used to be mainly on men, but lots of ladies do it now, too.
Take care.
