Even if you've never played before, there's no buy in. Might as well play, right? We'll play with as many players as want to enter. I'll leave registration open for one week (through monday Dec 15)

| I would be interested, but it would depend on when it was held. |

| I'm in.
Also, just so you know we've done No Limit Texas Hold'em on irc before. We just used yahoo. Why don't we just do that and have two rooms, then whoever lasts the longest in the two rooms gets whittled down to one room and play that way? |

Also, I'm extending entry until there are at least six people. We're up to five.

#9 | | Registered User | Okay, here's the latest update. Still trying to figure out WHERE to hold the tournament.
I COULD run a custom tournament on Full Tilt Poker. In terms of setup, this would be the easiest. This would unfortunately require all participants to sign up on Full Tilt Poker, deposit money into their accounts (minimum $50 deposit through e-checks), and would require the tournament to be a cash tournament with a $5+$0.50 buy in. All players would need to be at least 18.
Now while I wouldn't be against a cash tournament for CGR members (I play for money regularly), I can certainly understand if no one else is interested.
I'm still looking for a way to run a free tournament online. If I find a method, I'll post it.

Facebook has a Texas Hold 'em application that I can use to set up private tables.
Anyone who is still interested please let me know. Thank you.

#14 | | Registered User | I hope no one minds this being resurrected, as I still have an intent to conduct this tournament, and was waiting until I could find a way for this to happen. Well, I have found that way. There is an open-source cross-platform (Windows/Mac/Linux) poker client called HoldingNuts. This is the website: HoldingNuts | open source poker client and server | home | poker game texas hold em. There's no charge for the program and it should be easy enough to get going.
If anyone is still interested, I'm sure you will understand that signups will have to be restarted.
I sign myself up.
