Other information:
Nine players to a table. Game will be played over IRC. I'm currently searching for a working script.

Even if you've never played before, there's no buy in. Might as well play, right? We'll play with as many players as want to enter. I'll leave registration open for one week (through monday Dec 15)

If a mod could sticky this, that would rock.

I would be interested, but it would depend on when it was held.

I'm in.

Also, just so you know we've done No Limit Texas Hold'em on irc before. We just used yahoo. Why don't we just do that and have two rooms, then whoever lasts the longest in the two rooms gets whittled down to one room and play that way?

Thats a spectacular idea, actually.

Also, I'm extending entry until there are at least six people. We're up to five.

It looks like six is all we're going to get. Registration is closed.

Format: No-limit hold 'em.
Location: TBA. Yahoo apparently doesn't have no-limit. Any other suggestions?
Date&time: What works for you guys?

Okay, here's the latest update. Still trying to figure out WHERE to hold the tournament.

I COULD run a custom tournament on Full Tilt Poker. In terms of setup, this would be the easiest. This would unfortunately require all participants to sign up on Full Tilt Poker, deposit money into their accounts (minimum $50 deposit through e-checks), and would require the tournament to be a cash tournament with a $5+$0.50 buy in. All players would need to be at least 18.

Now while I wouldn't be against a cash tournament for CGR members (I play for money regularly), I can certainly understand if no one else is interested.

I'm still looking for a way to run a free tournament online. If I find a method, I'll post it.

FOR EVERYONE STILL INTERESTED:

Facebook has a Texas Hold 'em application that I can use to set up private tables.

Anyone who is still interested please let me know. Thank you.

Its going to be determined by what works best for everyone. I'm not running this with less than six players, so it will be as soon as I know what day works for everyone that is entering.
