I used to gobble up Ted Dekker books, but then I just started getting bored with his writing style. I'm not a fan of his anymore, though I never was able to put my finger on why.

Even if there is only one possible unified theory, it is just a set of rules and equations. What is it that breathes fire into the equations and makes a universe for them to describe? The usual approach of science of constructing a mathematical model cannot answer the questions of why there should be a universe for the model to describe. - Stephen Hawking

I personally like his writing, and think it's brilliant. Though from my understanding, there are a fair few who aren't fond of it. But that's true for any text.
Thats just the circle Trilogy, and the end of the lost books series where that happens, not in any of his other stuff.

I personally absolutely love his books.

And Skins (unless that was in the Paradise stuff).
