| I am not a huge fan of the thanksgiving foods. I like turkey well enough, but it is best on a sandwich. I love mashed potatoes, but turkey gravy is kind of weak. I like yams. My favorite thing, of course, is pumpkin pie. It is the true reason Thanksgiving was created. |

| Anything involving sweet potatoes. I like dressing.
I miss my great grandmothers thanksgiving feast. Collard greens, Sweet potatoes, Pineapple ham, and a very tiny turkey because it is thanksgiving. (sometimes that got forgotten to be cut.) Sweet potatoe pie. Key lime pie with meringue. Forget the turkey, If I cook it, I butcher it and turn it into asada.

And I love the fact that there is so much variety--no matter where I have Thanksgiving it seams there is always about 15 things on the table.
This year I will have two Thanksgivings (normal for me)--one at home on Tue. or Wed. and then one on the boat since I go to work at midnight on Wed. Thanksgivings on the boat are cool because you have people from different cultural backgrounds and different parts of the country contributing to the meal. |

I do not even really care about turkey.

I lived all my life on the west coast and had not eaten any greens other than spinach until for years ago when I started working in the Gulf. Seasoned mustard greens are my favorite. My wife and kids have not come around yet, but I have greens 2-3 times a week when I'm on the boat. |

I also LOVE LOVE LOVE greenbean casserole. I can't get enough of it.
I don't like turkey. Too dry.
We also do ham, which I can stand. |

| I would have to go with some pumpkin pie and sweet potatoes (candied yams). However, I think there is just too much to decide on when it comes to Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Oh, just for good measure, I like my turkey better when it's cold and on a sandwich. I do like turkey legs though
