| The Gamestop review basically said that playing the campaign several times can get a tad tiresome, but added the game is so intense most of the time that it would still be fun (which backs up my brief experience playing it). I imagine playing it on expert (or whatever the 4th difficulty tier is) would be less than insane.
The main thing is the price - I have yet to see it for less than $50 used. There should be respectable sellers on Amazon with decent used prices I guess.

When you call anything with harsh vocals "screamo", it makes as much sense as calling anything with distorted guitar "heavy metal".

| As far as just the campaign goes... It's still a phenomenal game. However, I would be wary of paying full price for it. If you can't do much multiplayer (friends or Live), then it's not worth the $60 or whatever it is new. |

I'm planning on buying it soon hopefully for $40, but I think I will have most of my time occupied with MW2. Still a great game and the multi-player makes it really fun.

| I wouldn't pay full price if you're not going to play multiplayer. Here's a link to cheaper prices: Half.com / Video Games / Left 4 Dead

| I found this new for $30 recently. I'm worried about getting bored soon since most of my friends are gone (i.e. no longer live here) and XBox Live is inconvenient for us. *sigh*

| I hope this isn't too much of a raise - the last post was 6 months ago.
I finally got a Live subscription, and this game is sooooooooooooo much better in multiplayer. The social aspect can suck though, cause numerous times I see my name up on the kick player queue and have no idea why they wanna kick me.
Also, the AI Director does some insanely stupid things sometimes. Once on Blood Harvest, the survivors got a third of the way through the level and we got a Tank, who incapped them. Then we play, and no more than 20 feet from the safe room, we hear a Tank coming - and he kills us all. Tonight, we opened the safe room door and got another early Tank, killed it, then got another one immediately after! Somehow two of us managed to almost reach the end of the level despite that.
Anyways, anyone wanna help me get Untouchables? There's a really easy way on No Mercy, as long as you have three or more humans.
