NCAA Basketball 2008-2009

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

Seriously...the season has begun. I'm all giddy.

My Wolf Pack is unranked. They should be strong this year, and they play North Carolina at home!! I want to go to that game.

NC State Wolfpack?

They actually played U.N.O. over in New Orleans last night. I almost went to see it.

GT is looking like another possible mediocre season which may cost Paul Hewitt his job Im afraid.Either way I cant wait for it to get under full swing and my second favorite (Mich St) looks like they have a solid young team.

UNC is going to be scary good. Hansbrough got wise and bought a mask.

Duke had to come from behind to beat Rhode Island...in Cameron. What the heck?

I can say right now that unless Zoubek has a serious breakout season, Duke will suffer a lot in the paint. They're still too small.

I feel sorry for the Big East teams. Rough schedules for some of them, I imagine.

We've got to go up against Kentucky without Hansbrough and Ginyard. Hansbrough might not be back for another two weeks. Ginyard's out until December.

Kentucky dropped another opener, though. Maybe they'll be alright. What happened to Hansbrough?

No problems for UNC.

Stephen Curry (Davidson) just put up 44 points in a losing effort against Oklahoma. That guy is awesome.

No problems? How about losing one of our highly recruited freshmen for the season? I'd say that's a problem.

Zeller was going to be a big part of this team and now he's gone. The good thing is that they can redshirt him and he'll still be available for four more years.

Kentucky is definitely going through a tough spell...not that I hate to see it.

What happened?Thats a hug blow and now ,as if there wasnt enough already, theres a few more tons of pressure on Hansbrough with him being out.

I was referring to the Kentucky game. Only the Kentucky game.

I hope things work out for them this year. A healthy UNC team would be nigh invincible.

An unhealthy UNC team would be Duke bait.

He got bumped going up for a dunk and lost his balance. He tried to catch himself and came down wrong on his wrist. It wasn't like someone tried to take him out or anything. It was just one of those things that happen.

On the bright side...Hansbrough should be back this weekend.

Holy crap.

Also, I'm disappointed that Michigan beat UCLA. I wanted to see how Collison would match up with Duke's guards.
