| When they're playing good, I'd say they're close to impossible to stop. |

They still won thanks to Ty Lawson's 21 points.
I know I'm biased...but I still believe they're the team to beat. | The really amazing thing is that Tyler Hansbrough played the entire second half with a concussion and it didn't get caught until later that night. That may explain his off night. |

Who? UConn or UNC?
That's the match-up I would most like to see. |

They have GOT to guard the perimeter. |

| Wazzu beat UCLA at Pauley! This season is now worthwhile. Other than yesterday, it's been a lot of disappointment. |

| This season has been one that I simply can't figure out. I knew Kansas would be having a rebuilding year, losing 5 starters from last year, but they still manage to plug in young players, and continue a streak of 20 wins seasons for the 20th year in a row.
Going into the season I figured it was North Carolina and then everybody else, but on any given night/day...strange things can happen. As March madness comes this year...I really don't know who might win it all. It's really up in the air this season. |

| I like Memphis better this year than I did last year. It's more fun to be underrated. |

Glad to see Duke actually beat a good team, even though they nearly blew a huge lead...
Florida State has a solid team this year. If they keep their heads down the last stretch they might not get snubbed by the tourney this year. I say snubbed, but I guess there's always a few teams in the NIT that are clearly a cut above the rest. Quote:

| Gerald Henderson = Terrapin slayer.
He only had 19 points, but it seemed like every one came at a pivotal moment.
The dunk he had...you will see that tomorrow morning on espn.
And four blocks, I think. At least three. The guy is a beast. |

Of course...I hate Duke. Henderson gets away with a lot of pushing off if you ask me. I believe there was way too much physical play in the paint without a whistle.
But on the other hand...it would figure that Maryland would vanish after having a championship performance against UNC. I can't say that I like them that much either.
For the record...Henderson can play...I don't want to sound like I'm taking anything away from him. |

| I'd say that there were one or two calls I thought were crap that went Duke's way. But Maryland was doing a lot of hacking, too. And Duke as a team is just good at drawing fouls. And that's legal. Heh.
Also, Maryland played amazing basketball, but the final nail in the coffin was that they just didn't have Vasquez. They stayed with Duke for a while but just ran out of steam. |
