10 - Amazing CD. Everyone should own it.
9 - Among the best of the year.
8 - One of the top CDs around, but could have been improved in a few places.
7 - Not a bad CD, but could have been better in a number of places.
6 - Pretty good for it's genre, but overall it's only acceptable.
5 - Decent CD, but only if you're a big fan of this genre.
4 - If you love this band, you'll like this CD. Otherwise, probably not.
3 - If you're a fan of this genre, the CD is barely acceptable.
2 - If you're a big fan of this band, this CD is tolerable.
1 - Even if you like this band, you won't like this CD.

| I'll check out a few songs soon. But I read somewhere that "if you liked pressure the hinges, you'll love this". With that statement alone i've pretty much sworn not to buy this record, the band has fallen apart since the departure of Jimmy.
But, I can't judge an album until i've heard music from it, so i'll give it a listen.

| Dude, don't worry! The screaming is way more diverse and amazing on this cd. It's really fast paced, and the cleans sound great. |

But, I can't judge an album until i've heard music from it, so i'll give it a listen. | I'd say they were falling apart when they put out When Everyting Falls. That cd was flirting with rock bottom, if you ask me.
But this cd seriously is way different from Pressure the Hinges. And certainly more entertaining, to me. Faster, as Patrick said, and the hard parts are harder, and the clean vox are less "chorusy". It's good. srsly. |

| I checked out Resolve and Mad Men.
Mad Men has a sweet riff, but thats about all.
Musically, they are more advanced then they were a few albums ago, but thats not a good enough hook to get me to buy this record.
I don't like the cleans, nor am I a big fan of the screams. The vocalist isn't bad, but he isn't worthy of replacing Jimmy and has nothing on Jimmy.
I won't be buying this record, though I give them props for taking a step out of the crap pile they fell into with PTH. I won't argue that they havn't progressed, because they have a lot and I respect them for making what sounds to be decent metalcore (and a little more creative) with this new release. But regardless of what they have just accomplished, i'm not "grabbed" enough to pick it up.

| Tsk, tsk, and double tsk. To each his own. If PtH was a crap hole, what was WEF?

| I'm a sucker for WEF, no matter how generic and uncreative it is.

| 7/10. I really didn't like it as much as Pressure On The Hinges. I don't know what it is, I just didn't enjoy the sound nearly as much. Plus the album art sucks, not that it really matters. |
