Well, I'm not an algebra whiz and I'm not sure if I read your post right (subscripts that arent't--I'm confused!  ) but if that big long thing on the right side of the = is just a big fraction, I believe you can cancel the variables that are on the top and on the bottom, coming up with: R1=Req/-ReqR3-ReqR2
I'm not sure if you can cancel the "Req" or not...I hope this is right! (But I wouldn't count on it  )
