Algebra question: Can this be simplified further?
Mmkay, well for homework we had to simplify an algebra equation to where it wasn't an extremely messy fraction. What I wound up coming to was this:
R1=ReqR2R3/R2R3-ReqR3-ReqR2
The numbers and "eq" are subscripts, BTW. Can this be simplified further?

Well, I'm not an algebra whiz and I'm not sure if I read your post right (subscripts that arent't--I'm confused!) but if that big long thing on the right side of the = is just a big fraction, I believe you can cancel the variables that are on the top and on the bottom, coming up with:
R1=Req/-ReqR3-ReqR2
I'm not sure if you can cancel the "Req" or not...I hope this is right! (But I wouldn't count on it)

Heh, kinda late but yep, that did turn out to be as simple as it gets. Scarily enough, my math teacher says that next year (Math 436... ugh...) will be way harder than what we're doing now, at a faster pace. I think my brain's gonna explode.
