Exclamation Forum rules. PLEASE READ *Updated September fifth*

Hi, I'm Cam and I've been seeing this forum used for somethings that it shouldn't, so I'm coming up with some thoughts here.

Do
1) Introduce yourself if you're new.
2) Get to know new members, and talk about the music they like, guitar experience, etc. (all additional talk about this goes in the respective forums, and will be moved there if necessary).
3) Use correct grammar/punctuation/spelling.
4) Tell us a bit about yourself, instead of just saying "Hi", or "what's up?" Tell us if you play guitar, what music you like, if you like any sports, etc.
Don't
1) Shamelessly plug your band, journal, internet store, whatever (aka spamming).
2) Post multiple threads introducing yourself (these threads will be merged, moved or deleted).
3) Cheap post (posting one-word responses, things that are off-topic, or anything else that doesn't add to the discussion).
4) Flame bate, troll, etc.
5) Introduce yourself in others' threads. This can confuse readers when there is multiple introductions in the same thread.
6)When welcoming people, please do not use "Canned Responses" such as "Welcome to CGR" "Hi, message me for help" or others. Feel free to ask questions, but please stop posting just to boost your post count.

These rules will be updated as needed.

Thanks! if you have any questions, PM me, or another mod, and I'll get back to you ASAP.

If a mod feels like this needs to be added to/edited, go ahead and do it.
