Borrowing an '80s Mesa Boogie... *Drool*

Long story short, there's a guy in my church who used to gig a lot doing some Blues a while back, and he's letting me borrow his Mesa Boogie. First impressions: WOW. I love the crunch! The only problem is that, to get the crunch, you have to turn the volume up past "kill your children and all their childrens' children." But it's a blast. Maybe some sound clips will be in order if I can find time to be alone and loud!

Nice, you lucky dog. I'm assuming it's a Mark I or II?

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight.

Honestly don't know, heh. It says Studio .22 under the Power and Standby switches if that helps.

Yes, that's the one, though he's replaced the speaker so it's no longer stock. Forgot what's in it, though.
