| I give it a 7. Some songs I really like are Lifted Me Out and My Deliverer. Sing, Sing, Sing and God of this City are good also I just prefer the Passion versions a million times over. Chris Tomlin is kinda wearing out his style though I wouldn't mind something a little different..............

| I thought that See the Morning was much better than this CD. I gave it a 7 i have to listen to it more for it to grow on me. Has anyone else notice that Chris Tomlin's big songs are usually written by someone else and he just covers them and make them big? ex. Your Grace is Enough, Everlasting God, God of This City? lol just a thought nothing wrong with it though. |

| Joshua you are right.. well he did write Holy is the Lord, and How Great is Our God.
Passion version of all the artist on them are better then the "studio mastered" versions.. i really like david crowder more on passion then cd. Im Just starting to not like Chris Tomlin that much. Ive heard on countless occasions that he is very ARROGANT.. so idk.. his Lead Guitarist Daniel is still my hero.

I wouldn't say any of those three are Tomlin's biggest.
As for big songs he did write:
* Made to Worship
* Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)
* Be Glorified
* We Fall Down
* Holy is the Lord
* How Great is Our God
* Famous One |

That said, it's very rude to say that Tomlin is arrogant without citing reliable witnesses. If you're just passing on word of mouth, you're toeing the line of sin.

Yes, some of Crowder's music is still the basic praise song structure, but a lot of it ("We Won't be Quiet", "Never Ending", "Can You Feel it") is very different from your basic worship album. Quote:

| I've worked a fairly extensive list of concerts for Christian artists. Most of my responsibilities involved either backstage hospitality, front of stage security, or other tasks that involve being around the artists. I've worked one Tomlin concert, and while he wasn't as friendly or approachable as some other artists (Jeremy Camp, Skillet, Rebecca St James, Hawk Nelson, Charlie Hall), he didn't come across as arrogant. He's really quiet, not exactly outgoing, but he didn't seem arrogant. |

| Many of times, I hear about how he really doesn't interact.. and when watching a television special with him as a speaker.. They would ask him question, and he just seems so High on himself.. and very very short with people.. if it is possible i will find that Special and let everyone watch.. Believe me.. i was a TOMLIN fan for a long time, a really long time.. but watching him.. going to his concerts.. meeting him backstage Twice.. he just seems so.. BLAH.. on the other hand, Jesse and Daniel are very very friendly and open.. As is David and his whole band. Both times i saw chris backstage he would sit back with a Unhappy look on his face.. Sorry if you guys got offended but its my person feelings
And this CD is his weakest yet.. but then agian.. ive never heard "Too much free time" anyone got a link to it?? haah
BTW, Amazing Grace(my chains are gone) is another song i like by him
again sorry but im not one to hide my feelings.

Sorry if you guys got offended but its my person feelings | Not interacting or being friendly is more a symptom of introversion rather than arrogance. When I saw him at a CD release party for "Arriving," he had a very self-depreciating sense of humor. The punch line to all of his stories and jokes was something making fun of his own short comings, and they were all pretty funny. Though, he's moved into mainstream success since "Arriving." So it's possible that selling 2 million records has gone to his head somewhat. Quote:
