Category: Nature
Flora, fauna, landscapes, seascapes, close up, far away, anything in the natural world.
THE RULES:
Using any standard disposable camera, go and shoot whatever you like. When you process your film, get the images in disc or make scans yourself, and upload and enter up to two of your favorite pictures in any of the four categories, which means up to 8 images, total. No digging up old images if you have them, no using any images taken using anything other than a disposable one-time use camera. Digital post-processing of images is not prohibited, but should be limited to any necessary image repair (removing dust, scratches), and cropping/resizing. This is to keep the playing field even, so to speak. You may shoot multiple cameras if you so choose, but keep in mind you will only be allowed to enter a maximum of two images in each category.
As long as the camera used is a standard 35mm disposable or on-time use camera, there are NO LIMITS on what other equipment (lighting, tripods, filters, scenery elements, etc.) is used.
The images in each category will then compete for the top slots in voting threads that will run for two weeks following the conclusion of submission. The winning two images from each category will go head-to-head in an uber-battle for the win, where the respective artists will have a week or two to then be permitted to go as nuts on the post-processing, or not, as they would like, followed by a vote for the winner(s?).
Here are the entries (in no particular order). Voting should be based on technique, creativity, and how interesting the photo is while within the challenge's criteria. Voting will be open for two weeks after this posting, and the winner will be able to choose the next challenge. Voting for yourself is discouraged.
The entries will be NUMBERED. Vote for your choice of the numbered images.
