#2 | | ... | I really know nothing about that amp or manufacturer, but it might be rather usable -- especially if you're using a modeler, plugging into the effect return might do pretty well. I wouldn't put much stock in the tone of the preamp, but don't knock an amp until you've tried it.
I guess I'm just not much of a tube snob...
I will admit that all the animated gifs and marquee texts make it look as though the page came straight out of the late '90s...

It's probably usable. I'm not sure how amazing you'd expect for $300. |

| I think you can get the Crate/Raven/Line 6 halfstacks for like $500. Yeah its almost double the price, but then again it's a name you can trust.... |

| Raven and Crate aren't exactly names I trust...

This negatively affected my tone in ways that I just can't describe.
Then, on a whim, a few years ago I wandered into a Bath and Body Works store at a local mall and picked up some of their gentle foaming anti-bacterial hand cleansers.
The difference in my guitar's sound is so wickedly improved that I no longer feel the need to buy a new amp or pedals or even strings...EVER!
So, it's my belief that tone is in the soap.
Thank you and goodnight. | |
