NFL Week 2

okay here is week two. art has the pickem league opened up if you want to make selections there.

i am really interested to see...

indy vs. minn
if tavaris jackson can get a half decent game (like 200 yards 1 td/0 int) i think they have a good shot at winning.

chic vs carolina
bears looked really good last week. i thought i was seeing the super bowl bears from a few years ago.

pats vs jets
i think favre will pull this out. pats are so much of a question mark w/o brady. we will see how much magic moss has left. i mean, he made daunte culpepper look good.

dallas vs phil
i think this will be a nail biter, but i have to pick my 'boys. if barber can lay down blocks like this against all the blitz packages and his bruised ribs dont hurt him...i think the cowboys will be money.

San Diego vs. Denver in Denver...

San Diego looked less than spectacular in week one...and Denver looked incredible.

and Merriman is out for the season.

this is going to be an interesting game. SD's defense should be tons better than Jokeland's was last Monday. If SD plays as they're capable, then it won't be as interesting...if they play like they did last Sunday then Denver has a shot at being 2-0.

This week I made my picks and then realized I picked nearly all road teams. That's just the way I see it this week. San Diego on the road was the hardest to pick, but with the wake up call they had last week, I think they will remained focused throughout.

I'm limited to looking forward to the only games I get to watch , and right now I have no idea which ones those are.

The Jets Pats game will definitely be an interesting one, I'm sure. I'm kind of worried about the Steelers Browns game, but I think Pittsburgh will take it. And yeah, Chargers Broncos, that's going to be a goodun. I can't remember who I picked, but it was a tough one.

I don't know how many games you get, but even in the US we are somewhat limited. Anybody who doesn't have DirecTV is limited to a maximum of 6 games per week, unless there are games on special days. 2 (Max) games on each channel (FOX and CBS), the Sunday night game (NBC), and the Monday night game. (ESPN).

And they always show the home market. So I know that every week, two of my six games will be the Raiders and the 49ers.

Does anyone know if the Texans game will be on TV Monday night? Not that I care about them, I was just curious about ESPN having rights to Monday night.

And I would like some fantasy advice for a league I'm playing in with my friends. Four running backs: Marion Barber, Larry Johnson, Willie Parker, Michael Turner. I have to start two. I'm pretty set on Barber as one, but it seems like a toss-up for the other spot. Any opinions?

Parker has been strong. Given Barber's current condition, I almost wonder if he'll be limited this week.

I will say that Turner is starting for me this week, but I don't have the same weapon choices that you do.

I would start Parker and Turner, personally.

News for anyone who hasn't heard, the Houston/Baltimore game has been postponed until Nov. 9th, with both teams taking their bye this week. If you have any fantasy players from these teams, do not start them!!!
