Sept. 11, 2008…Nashville, TN… Having recently celebrated the RIAA Gold and Platinum Certification of two previous projects, Grammy nominated artist, Chris Tomlin says “hello” to his fifth studio album Hello Love being No. 1 on the iTunes ® Christian & Gospel Albums Chart and rose to No. 2 on overall iTunes ® Top Albums Chart, making it the highest charting debut for any album in the Christian industry. In addition, Hello Love (9/2/08) took the No. 10 spot on Billboard’s Top 200 Album Chart and sold more than 51,000 units in its first week alone.

“What an incredible summer,” says Tomlin. “My band and myself have spent most of the season on the Passion World Tour. It has been two years since the two-time GRAMMY Award nominated worship leader released his 2006 RIAA Gold-certified record, See The Morning, which sold an amazing 47,420 copies in its first week. Now the highly anticipated follow-up album Hello Love has gone above and beyond Tomlin’s past efforts to make this album one of the biggest releases this year.
