Hold feature on DD-3

Does anybody else find this completely useless?

I have yet to find any application for this feature...perhaps I'm using it incorrectly.

Gurr.. ive heard complants about that before..i think its on the dd20 too.. :I But ive only played with it once when i was setting up both mine and our old rythem guitarist rigs at a show.. So yea.. i find it KINDA dumb but maybe i also was doing it wrong Ha

I use it to hold drone notes with an Ebow, then play a melody on top of that

+1 yeah, with only like what, 3 second? its only good for stuff like that

kill the volume, hit a chord, open the volume,let it ring, hit the HOLD

That's what I do, however, I'm getting a definite start to each note, like it picks up when I press the switch down.

And no, it's more like 1 second.
