NFL Week 1

i thought all the NFL discussion would get buried in a thousand page thread so we can take it week by week. first game of the season...giants vs. skins

skins didnt look so good. their offense sputtered. its hard to tell whether it was the skins offense or the giants defense. i didnt think that plax would come through as big as he did. giants look pretty solid. on both sides of the ball.

(first off, I like the single week thread idea)

And I agree with your assesment...also, what happened to the Redskins' 2 minute offense?

I hope to follow the Chargers a lot more closely this season than I have in previous seasons...hopefully they can sell out this week's game, because apparently they are currently risking a blackout.

That being said, I don't expect the Bolts to go through the same early season adjustments as they did last year under (then) new coach Norv Turner. I expect them to hit the ground in full (though injured) stride this season.

Week 1 Prediction
San Diego - 31
Carolina - 17

Oh wow, I had no idea that there was going to be a game last night. I didn't make any picks for the pick em league! I'm surprised by the skins, I had heard from numerous places that they were supposed to a team to watch this season.

The Giants line looked tough on both sides of the ball.

Someone should crack a smelling salts over the entire city of Boston to revive the passed out Patriots fans.

Well, Dolphins lost, but my fantasy team cleaned up! Who would have thought that Michael Turner would have 220 yards rushing?!
